I stop them, practically get in their faces and say.... "My granddaughter is part black..." I had one actually say but that is different... and I, "How is it different... you are being a bigot." over time they have gotten better, or at least keeping silent.GingerVhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16501023251788210094noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8287005166012220959.post-31271009352931198332011-11-01T10:11:48.877-04:002011-11-01T10:11:48.877-04:00Shaune is a keeper!Shaune is a keeper!Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08700057904506855793noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8287005166012220959.post-36377670488757705872011-10-31T22:41:23.840-04:002011-10-31T22:41:23.840-04:00I remember being treated very differently after 9/...I remember being treated very differently after 9/11...even though I'm Indian and not Pakistani! It's so sad that it seems to be so easy for some people to hate other people. It makes me want to cry when I think that you have been on the receiving end of such cruel behavior.
