In loving memory

Tux passed away very peacefully today after a short battle with cancer. He was loved, cherished and adored by his human family - Bill and Fran (Grandpa and Grandma), Aunts Katie, Chrissy and Tanis and Uncle Justin and us and also by his cat family - Toby, Lucy and Pumpkin. Tuxie's majestic and charismatic personality will be dearly missed by everyone but we know he has joined Toby and Judge up in Heaven.

Sundays are for visiting

Today Deaglan visited with Grandma and Grandpa Mac and Uncle Justin and Aunt Katie, Grandma and Grandpa Maheu and met his cousins Asia (in the green dress) and Farrah (in the pink dress) for the first time. Congratulations to Uncle Craig and Aunt Jozlyn on their beautiful new baby girl!

Angel in Heaven

A year ago today, Shaune and I said goodbye to our first baby, Judge. Deaglan never got to meet him although I'm sure he could hear him through mom's tummy - mom was about five months pregnant when Judge passed away. These are some pictures of Judge's last few months. We were happy that he was able to vacation with us in Miller Lake last summer and that he got to swim (his favourite pasttime next to eating) right up until the end. We know he had a good life with us because we loved him very much.

Helping Daddy

Helping Daddy water the lawn is fun especially when the hose accidentally sprays Deaglan.

Big boy

Time is flying (too fast it seems). Deaglan is beginning to look more like a little boy and less like a tiny baby.

Cool down

We filled our new turtle sandbox with some cool water. Who knew it could have such multi uses!

Refreshing

We went to the splash pad down on King Street today. It was probably more fun for mom and dad at first. The sudden blasts of water were scary for Deaglan. After a while, though, he seemed to like it. He'll defintely love it once he can walk.

Oh Canada

We spent Canada Day at Ipperwash. It was this beach bum's first time in a lake. The water was pretty cold but the sun was shiny and warm and we had fun dipping our feet in.
