The conversations I'm having

Deaglan: Mommy what's that?

Me: A street cleaner.

Deaglan: What's it doing?

Me: Cleaning the street.

Deaglan: Why?

Me: Because the street is dirty.

Deaglan: Why?

Me: Because the cars drive on it and make it dirty.

Deaglan: Why?

Me: Because they have dirt on their tires that fall on the road.

Deaglan: Why?

Me: Because it does.

Deaglan: But why Mommy?

Me: Oh Honey look there's a firetruck!

  1. Looks like he's some artist in that photo! Don't you just love those "why" conversations. LOL. When I'm battling my teenager, I miss those kind of sweet conversations. You can imagine the kind of dialogue we sometimes have now that hormones and attitude try to kick in. Hope you're doing well. I'll try to call you soon :)

  2. I love it! My mom says that was me. Ask him "why do you think it cleans the street?"

    How are you?

  3. my son was 5 when he wanted to know where babies come from - after about 15 minutes of wheres and he finally ask how and I realized he wanted to know how the baby gets out of the mother.... I said she has a special opening and he says 'okay' sometimes the question isn't the right one to really tell you how to answer them.
