- I'm off for a few days starting today. Wheeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!
- I'm sitting in my pyjamas in the recliner with nothing pressing on my calendar. I may not get dressed till this afternoon.
- Thank God it's raining because I don't need any pressure to go out and enjoy the sunshine.
- Shaune just took Deaglan to the market and Naveen's napping! Do I need to go on or are you feeling me?
- I want to eat ice cream. Guilt-free. I'm going to suggest it when everyone gets back.
- I won't be answering the phone. Or emails.
- I may lounge around like this and read my favourite blogs. Guilt-free. Wish we had some ice cream in the freezer.
- Which reminds me, I might have to get up for groceries.
- Or maybe we'll eat take-out all day.
- I'm going to find out what's been happening in Genoa City.*

Life lessons: mini vacation edition
I have two new bloggy girlfriends. You might have noticed them on my sidebar. Sara and Rach started their own weekly meme called Life's lessons where each Friday they list what they learned that week. I'm joining them with my own list.

Hooray for p-jay days! It's nice to have the odd day that doesn't involve being up and out the door in a frenzy! Enjoy your days at home with the boys!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your days off and HUGE congrats on BlogHer!! WOOT!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your vacation!! Also eat some I've cream for me, ok? Stupid diet.....
ReplyDeleteOh yay for some downtime! Eat take out and ice cream. Wear pj's and don't even answer the front door.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy some time off - I am sure it is much deserved. And make sure you just sit back and smile a lot, too.
ReplyDeletehope you had a fun day! i' haven't watched the young and the restless in about 30 years and i'll bet the same thing is still happening! have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh, friend. It makes me so happy to hear that you're having time to yourself. Enjoy it.
ReplyDeleteenjoy your staycation friend! especially your trip to Genoa City...things are getting interesting, so many double-double crosses and Victor is at the center of it all (of course!)
ReplyDeleteI never watched soaps until one year when I didn't have any morning classes in college and all my roommates watched Days of Our Lives. That was the craziest thing I've ever seen. Haven't been able to keep up since!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your staycation!
Wow, that actually sounds like a great Friday!! I could see how it would be better with ice cream in the fridge!
ReplyDeleteI got hooked on Y&R the year I was on internship. It was the only channel I got on the little TV someone gave me and it came on during my lunch break. And, as it happens, I was also pregnant.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are having a fantastic few days off (hope today was one of them!). With regards to Genoa City...I used to work at CBS and Y & R filmed right next door. I saw all of your friends every day! That one girl with the long red-ish hair? She is beautiful! And Joshua something or another? Is unbelievably hot.
ReplyDeleteFabulous...It has been so long since I watched TYATR...My great grand-mother and grand-mother would make me watch it with them when they babysat me. I'm talking beginning at 3-years old. I love how that I could turn it on today and pick up on the storylines...Great meme.
ReplyDeleteWish I could come on over and hang out in my pajamas with you. I would bring tons of ice cream!!
